Ok, so I guess I'm being a copy cat. A bunch of my friends have blogs and I guess I never thought my life was interesting enough to blog about but what the heck. We have had a busy last few weeks as I'm sure most parents of school age kids have. The thing that keeps hitting me is how big my baby is getting. Syd had her birthday party, almost a month early, this past Sunday because pools close this week and she wanted a pool party. A great time was had by most at the CP YMCA. Well almost 20 kids and 300 bucks later... We had a great time and we even managed to avoid the rain until it was time for presents and almost time to leave anyway.

She started back to school on Monday and was so excited to start school, the main reason being she wanted to wear her new clothes. I don't know where she gets her love for clothes and especially shoes but I know it's not her daddy. I tried to convince both him and her that she could not wear black tennis shoes with the outfit she had on the other day and John just did not get it. I told him that he was a man and I did not expect him to get it.
